DMG is actively recruiting for an outpatient Attending Psychiatrist for our adult F-ACT team located in a new outpatient clinic space on the campus of Valleywise Behavioral & Mental Health Center – an inpatient psychiatric hospital with an emergency department, in Maryvale, AZ. ACT provides a full range of services to people with a serious mental illness (SMI) insurance benefit. ACT teams offer complete, community based treatment to people in the most difficult situations.

Inpatient ADULT PSYCHIATRY

District Medical Group, Inc., (DMG), a large multi-specialty faculty practice group is seeking an inpatient Attending Psychiatrist for our adult inpatient program at Valleywise Behavioral Health Center in Mesa, Arizona. The ideal candidate must enjoy working with hospitalized, seriously mentally ill patients. Caseload is 9-10 patients, with an average length of stay of 22 days; most patients are involuntary. This position includes faculty appointment (for eligible candidates) to the Creighton School of Medicine in Phoenix and the University of Arizona College Of Medicine – Phoenix and involvement in resident and medical student education.

Caseload is 10-11 patients and duties include collaboration with a psychiatric nurse practitioner and teaching of rotating medical students, with faculty appointment available to the Creighton University School of Medicine in Phoenix.
