The Public Affairs Committee is dedicated to enhancing the public image and understanding of psychiatry through strategic outreach and media engagement. Our mission is to promote positive perceptions of the field and inform the public about the importance of mental health. The committee oversees public affairs and media responses, social media strategies, website development, and the production of a regular newsletter. Members are encouraged to participate in specific areas of interest, such as media response, social media outreach, website development, or newsletter production. Join us in shaping the public narrative around psychiatry and mental health and making a meaningful impact in our community.
