Biography

Professional experience
Dr. Ron Tang, DO is a resident physician at the Creighton University School of Medicine – Phoenix. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Arizona and earned his medical degree from A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona. A proud Arizona native, Dr. Tang was drawn to stay in his hometown to give back to the community that shaped him. He enjoys Arizona’s year-round sunshine and outdoor lifestyle, and values the diverse training experiences offered at Creighton University - Phoenix, including opportunities to write legal affidavits and provide courtroom testimony. Dr. Tang is a current American Psychiatric Association SAMHSA Fellow, reflecting his commitment to advancing mental health equity and serving underserved populations. He is passionate about caring for a wide range of individuals from vulnerable populations to high performing athletes. He is particularly interested in integrating technology and artificial intelligence into psychiatry to help expand access to care.
