Biography

Professional experience
Dr. Kaley Reeves Canova‑Gaitros, DO is a board-eligible psychiatrist completing her fellowship at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson. Born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Music from Florida State University. She continued her education at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, earning a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences, and a Master of Arts in Bioethics. During medical school, she dedicated an additional year to an undergraduate clinical teaching fellowship.
Dr. Canova‑Gaitros completed her psychiatry residency at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson in 2025. Her clinical interests include adult and perinatal psychiatry, ethics, academic medicine, integrative therapies, and LGBTQIA+ care College of Medicine - Tucson. In addition to her dedication to patient-centered care, she is committed to fostering education and wellness through an integrative approach.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Canova‑Gaitros enjoys playing the piano, singing, cheering on Florida State University athletics, exploring new restaurants, spending time with her greyhound, and watching movies
